From its humble beginnings as a Sunday School, the church has struggled and thrived for over a century to bring God's to the Oakland Chinatown community and beyond. The church's ministry has followed the path of immigrant generations to Chinese-American and Asian-American/multi-ethnic generations as they become Disciples of Christ and transform the world.
