Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. for all ages at Gather Time. We share blessings and prayer requests, talk about important church or community events, and pray for one another. We celebrate birthdays and thank God for blessing us with the gift of friendship.
Classes for preschool to adults meet from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Small groups encourage discussion and sharing in a friendly and nurturing environment. Currently we have a Cappuccino and Christ group ( small group discussions over coffee), a worship team Bible study group, a women's Bible study group, high school and middle school group, and grade level classes for preschool to 6th grade.
In the summer months we all meet together in a more relaxed and informal inter-generational class. God has blessed us with many gifts and talents so individuals are invited to share these blessings by teaching a class. Some of the classes we have had are knitting and crocheting, ribbon bookmarks, Chinese calligraphy, Mandarin lessons, art lesson in drawing perspective, making won ton and smoothies, woodworking projects, writing and illustrating for the advent devotional, train dominoes, mini-book making, and making cookies. We enjoy learning new skills and appreciating and recognizing one another's gifts.
